PHOTOVOLTAIC ENERGY
The sun’s energy is infinite, like almost all the seductive and impersonal proposals that you will find on the market, through a website, a bot or unwelcome calls from unknown phone numbers.
Our promise is very simple: to create together a solution that responds faithfully to the characteristics of your property, its energy needs and your budget.
At ALMOD.HOUSE, we transform solar energy not only into savings on your electricity bill, but also into peace of mind for you. Because together we bring certainty and confidence to your self-consumption project, adapted, safe and efficient for your villa, industrial or building.
How do solar panels work?
Photovoltaic solar panels capture solar radiation and take advantage of the “photovoltaic effect” discovered by Edmond Becquerel more than a century ago.
Solar cells are composed of a layer of silicon and phosphorus that provide the negative charge and another layer of boron that provides the positive charge. In this way, solar cells have two charges and can therefore generate electricity. If there were not two opposite charges, electricity generation would not be possible.
Photovoltaic cells composed of a semiconductor material with excess negatively charged electrons and a positively charged semiconductor material with missing electrons absorb photons when exposed to sunlight. In doing so, an electric current is initiated that allows the excess electrons to move out of their atomic orbit and be launched into the electric field generated by the solar panels.
All the photovoltaic cells work together and generate a directional electric current that can be harnessed in homes thanks to the inverter.
Subsidies
Subsidies for self-consumption allow you to save between 40% and 50% on your installation. These subsidies, mainly intended for installations in single-family homes or communities of neighbors, can be applied for by anyone who wishes to install solar panels in their home.
The grants and subsidies for the installation of solar panels are intended for all those homes that wish to self-consume part or all of their energy.
We will help you throughout the process and will advise you at all times.
Maintenance
Why is it important to maintain your solar panel system?
The importance of giving good maintenance to your solar panels lies in the guarantee of its safe and efficient operation. In addition, if it is not done periodically and correctly, it can cause problems such as reduction in generation due to accumulated dust, failures in the electrical connections and unidentified hot spots in the modules.
By giving a good maintenance to your system, you avoid aging and gradual wear of the system, and ensure the correct operation of the photovoltaic installation, thus obtaining a low return on investment time.

Types of solar photovoltaic systems
– Off-grid solar installation: an off-grid solar kit allows the energy supply in those houses or warehouses where there is no access to the electricity grid, there is no contract with the electricity company, or you want to disconnect it of your own free will. These kits are mainly composed of: solar panels, a charge regulator, an isolated inverter and batteries to store the energy and use it at night or on cloudy days.
– Grid-connected installation: also called direct self-consumption, a grid-connected kit is one that is ready to be installed in homes, warehouses or any infrastructure where there is supply from the electric company. The aim is to reduce energy consumption from the grid and save on electricity bills, thanks to the production that solar panels can provide. These kits are mainly composed of solar panels and a grid-connected inverter.
Advantages of Solar Energy
Savings on electricity bills: Free, tax-free and unlimited energy production.
Independence from electricity price variations.
Reduction of CO2 emissions and production of green energy.
Tax benefits due to self-consumption subsidies.
The maintenance of solar panels is minimal due to their technological simplicity.
Photovoltaic energy belongs to the safest energies.
